1. For July’s Secret Gallery post, we got another big Notorious Ghost update! See Blaze’s alternate outfit sprites, Judd, Evie, and the supporting/romanceable characters for one of the routes. Plus some GUI layouts!

Demon of the Underground
Demon of the Underground is my longest-running webcomic. It’s about Pogo, a half-demon with telekinetic powers who falls into a treacherous underground world beneath Chicago. The first 300+ pages can be read for free at demonoftheunderground.com. Current pages are being released on Patreon, with plans for new free pages in the future.
Demon of the Underground is updating with free public pages on Tapas! We’re up to chapter 4, page 65!

Odds and Ends
Initiatives
You may have heard that Steam and itch.io recently delisted many games and comics for adult audiences, due to demands made by credit card companies and payment processors. Credit card companies don’t allow certain businesses or types of creative work to use their services, and this has resulted in massive amounts of censorship and onerous content restrictions on many platforms creators rely on. For me, that includes Patreon and itch.io, and I’ve had to censor my own work and tiptoe around restrictions to make sure I stay in compliance. A lot of my cartoonist friends have also been impacted by these rules, many having their works delisted on itch.io.
It shouldn’t be up to Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, or Stripe to decide what art can and can’t be sold, especially in an era where most purchases are made digitally. Their restrictions are the reason art and comic platforms are becoming so hostile to creators and readers of media for adult audiences.
The Cartoonist Cooperative is part of a widespread initiative to make it clear to these payment processors that their censorship is unacceptable.
Check out the Cartoonist Cooperative’s statement on the issue here, along with our calls to action and lists of resources. There’s a ton of stuff you can do to help! A few phone calls go a long way.
